Job Summary:

Indigo Signs, a cutting-edge custom sign company, is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our collaborative team in Fargo, ND. We pride ourselves on designing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing top-quality signs, and we're excited to welcome a new Fabricator who shares our commitment to excellence.

As a Fabricator at Indigo Signs, you'll be at the heart of our operations, crafting and welding components to create stunning signage for our clients. Your role will involve using various tools and techniques, requiring precision, skill, and the ability to work independently and efficiently. If you love building things, enjoy diverse tasks, and prefer working indoors, this position is perfect for you.

In this role, you'll:

• Fabricate and weld components to create custom signage.
• Use a variety of tools and techniques to ensure high-quality results.
• Work independently and efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Enjoy a Monday-Friday 1st shift schedule with no weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other drawings.
• Use hand tools, welding torches, and other equipment to cut, shape, and join metal parts together.
• Perform welding processes and inspect welds for accuracy and quality.
• Operate machinery such as shears, presses, brakes, drills, grinders, and saws.
• Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.

Requirements:

• Three+ years working as a Fabricator.
• Experience working with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy items with the assistance of a co-worker or using lift equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret shop and CAD drawings.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Welding certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols.
• Experience working in a shop or construction environment is a plus.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test.
